This Galway Teen Serenaded Her Idol Ellen In Front Of Millions Of People

When it comes to idols for Irish teenagers we don’t bargain that Ellen DeGeneres ranks anywhere near the top. Granted, she’s a hugely famous star with a majorly successful TV show but generally she appeals more to the daytime audience of a more vintage age group.

Not so for Galway teenager Eimear Tuathail who worships the 59-year-old so much that the only books she has ever read have been written by the star. 

The 17-year-old was invited on the programme to sing a song she penned entitled ‘Hey Ellen’ and was positively gushing as she spoke to her idol about pressing issues such as Starbucks and lip balm. 

The Ellen Show averages about 3.9 million viewers per episode and you be able to resist smiling throughout this clip. Check it out below.
