Two of the funniest lads in Ireland (well okay, it’s the same fella but still), Damo and Ivor have announced they’re soon going to be on the big big screen.
Damo Whelan and Ivor Itchdaddy, the gas characters of both sides of the Liffey played by Andrew Quirke, made their fame with RTE’s Republic of Telly, and you can’t go a week without catching one of their sketches on TV.
They spread the word of their Hollywood debut on their Facebook page, saying:
“The time has come!
“DAMO AND IVOR THE MOVIE!!! Is being filmed this summer to go into every cinema across the country next year! It will be the biggest and best thing Damo and Ivor have ever done! With fan base so big will it break records for Irish cinema?”
We’ll be keeping an eye out for this release for sure.
