‘Fair City’ Fans Will Soon Be Able To Live In Carrigstown

James Fenton

Ireland’s number one soap Fair City has always had a loyal following and now fans may be able to get closer to Carrigstown than ever before.

RTÉ has sold land at its Donnybrook campus, with the set of the popular serial due to be knocked down and replaced by a housing development.

There’ll probably be quite a rush of people prepared to up sticks and move into the iconic area so make sure to get in quickly.

Fans of the soap mustn’t fear though as the set will be uprooted and built on a new site. Let’s just hope they don’t forget about Katy.
