The Voice UK Will Hold Auditions In Ireland This Month

Alana Laverty

The Voice UK is coming to Ireland, folks, so get warming those vocal chords now.

The popular TV show will hold auditions in Belfast, Donegal and Galway this month for their 2018 season.

Following the cancellation of the Irish version of the show last year, competition will most definitely be tough for a spot on this year’s show.

A spokeswoman for The Voice said, “We’re on the look-out for anyone who thinks they have what it takes to be the new vocal superstar.”

All you need is to be able to carry a tune, be over the age of 16 (accompanied by a parent or legal guardian if you’re under 18) and be a solo act or part of a duo.

Bands need not apply, apparently.

Auditions will be held in Seven Bridge Street, Galway at 7pm on April 23.

Donegal auditions will be held in the Abbey Hotel from 6pm on April 24.

And Belfast auditions will be held in The Pavilion, Belfast on April 25 from 9pm.

Auditions will be based on a first come, first served basis.
