When it comes to our favourite shows returning to the big screen, we're always a bit torn.
Yes, we're nostagic and we want them to return to our lives but the reality is that it's NEVER quite as good second time around.
This was definitely true with the long-awaited Gilmore Girls reboot, which kicked off with a promising first episode, went completely off the rails in two and three, and finally won all all over with an absolutely jawdropping final scene.
We've been on tenterhooks ever since to see if Netflix were going to leave the outcome to our imagination or bring the gang back together - and now, it seems like it may be the latter.
The streaming service has now confirmed that it is in "very preliminary talks" with creators Amy and Dan Sherman-Palladino about future episode of the series.
"We hope there are more installments. We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped,” Netflix's Ted Sarandos told The Hollywood Reporter.
We'll be keeping our fingers crossed...
