It was a rivalry for the ages as Mancunian rockers Oasis and art college heart throbs Blur battled for Britpop supremacy throughout the 1990s.
Public insults were commonplace and in many households around the UK and Ireland it really was a case of ‘Oasis or Blur?’
Last night though, the two worlds collided as Noel Gallagher of Oasis fame teamed up with Damon Albarn, formerly of Blur as Albarn’s current group Gorillaz performed on The Graham Norton Show:
People were rubbing their eyes as it emerged Gallagher was really there strumming away casually beside his old arch enemy on ‘We Got The Power’:

What would Liam make of it all? No doubt he’ll let us all know as soon as he wakes up.
To all you NG fanboys I can and will sing any song he wrote bigger better than him even if I was kicked in the bollox by a wood pigeon LG
