Their outfits were fairly similar in fairness.
Twitter came alive during last night’s episode of Aftersun, as usual. And in an unexpected turn of events, people think that Laura Whitmore gets her style cues from Marge Simpson.
Appearing on the panel alongside host Laura was Roman Kemp, Raye and Stephen Bailey. As well as Eve Gale, the first islander to be dumped from the villa.

Discussing everything from Eve’s time in the villa to the blossoming romances between the remaining islanders, the panel also chatted to Mike Boateng’s family.
But it seems that the real highpoint of the episode was, in fact, Laura Whitmore’s outfit, with more than a few eagle-eyed fans pointing out the likeness to an outfit Marge Simpson once wore.
And once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Fairly quick thinking on the part of the public, how they managed to make the connection is beyond me.
Responding to the comparison, Laura Tweeted:
“Marge’s was Chanel to be fair! So I’ll take that!”
All she’s missing is the gravity-defying blue hair and red pearls. Maybe she’s saving that for the next episode…
The powder pink pant-suit is actually designed by Dublin-based designer Joanne Hynes.
Part of Hynes’ new season collection with Dunnes Stores, it looks like we’ll all be able to don the ‘Good Girl’ outfit and channel our inner Marge Simpson soon too.
