WATCH: This Seriously Creepy Video Shows What Mosney Holiday Park Looks Like Today

One part of the holiday park has been used as a direct provision centre – the other part, featured in this video, has been uninhabited for 15 years

Irish people of a certain vintage will remember Mosney holiday park quite well – even if only from the ads, or day trips in school.

The former Butlins camp in Meath closed in 2001, and a large part of the park is now being used as a direct provision centre for refugees.

This video, however – recorded this week by FlipFlop Windsurfing – shows the other part of the park, which has fallen into complete disrepair. And from the unmoved tables and chairs in the main dining area, to the mattresses lying idle in the bedrooms, it's all a bit eerie.
