PICS: No Joke Someone Is Selling Bags Of Water Online Following Shortages In Ireland

Darragh Berry

All of the rain that falls out of the sky for the other 9 months of the year and nobody thinks to conserve it?

We won’t be making that mistake again.

As we roll into the 406th successive day of blistering heat in Ireland we are now faced with hose pipe bans and water shortages.

If we don’t have any water in this weather, we’re going to be fecked, there’s no two ways about it. But, this buck down in Mayo has turned into a mini-entrepreneur during this heatwave and has decided to bag up the water that is still flowing all around Mayo and sell it off to those who are worse off.

It’s what you see is what you get. Half a bag of water comes at a price of €50: No timewaters and no monkeys offering peanuts.

The ad reads:

“Highly sought after fresh water for sale. Comes in all different sizes. Will do good deal on a good few litres. Get them fast before they’re all gone.”

If you’re asking us, we’d say buy in bulk just to be safe.
