WATCH: Bono’s daughter Eve Hewson tells embarrassing dad story for the ages on the Late Late

Dads are supposed to be embarrassing and even though Bono is a world-renowned music superstar, that doesn’t make him as different as his daughter Eve Hewson confirmed last night.

The star of Behind Her Eyes was on The Late Late Show last night to talk about Netflix’s new supernatural thriller and she also found time to give some insight on what it was like to grow up as the daughter of one of Ireland’s most famous men.

Naturally, the U2 frontman spent a lot of time on tour as Eve and her siblings were growing up so when he had a chance to spend time with them, he took it. The school run provided this opportunity and Eve confirmed not only the her dad don his trademark shades as he dropped them off, he also tended to wear a dressing gown for the journey.

Throw in some Backstreet Boys and some dancing and you’ve got an embarrassing dad story for the ages. Eve clearly forgave him in time and we’ll let her fill you in on the story in the clip below…
