Six cute tote bags to buy from Irish designers

Brian Dillon

These six Irish designers are selling some wonderfully fun tote bags.

Who doesn’t love a tote? It’s a staple piece, really. Although they’re a great way to carry all of your bits, they can also be a wonderful little accessory.

So, we’ve searched through Instagram to find some fabulous Irish creators who are designing and selling cute, quirky and charismatic tote bags!

Susan McGing

Susan’s ‘Now That’s What I Call Notions’ tote bags are gas, as well as her Sister Michael and simple ‘Shite’ ones.

They are 100% cotton and available through her Etsy shop.

Design Wright

Miggeldy and his dogs? She has it. Dolly Cured Covid? She has that one as well. A nice ‘Go Tobann’ nod to Junior Cert Irish. Yep, that’s also available.

Long story short, Megan has a range of wonderful tote bags that people who grew up in Ireland will appreciate. You can check them out on her website.

DeBurca Design

Orlaith DeBurca creates some beautiful tote bags with some lovely messages such as ‘Mind You Mind’ and ‘Outfit Repeater and Proud’. Check out more on her website.

Niamh Eile

Niamh designed this ‘Thanks a Brunch’ tote, a lovely tribute to one of our favourite ice-creams. It’s 100% cotton and printed here in Ireland. Check out her online shop here.

Ciara Makes Things

Ciara’s designs have a message in support of various important causes, whether that’s LGBTQ+ representation or justice for asylum seekers. Check out her website here.

Jill & Gill

Of course, we had to feature Jill & Gill. With a wide range of apparel and designs available, it’s no surprise that they have some lovely tote bags, such as their Frida Kahlo design and this empowering ‘I’m The Coolest Woman You Know’ bag. Check out more here.
