WATCH: Gillian Anderson’s behind the scene clips of The Crown cast are a joy

Gillian Anderson gave a star turn as Margaret Thatcher in the latest series of The Crown and by the looks of things, she had some fun while doing so.

In her role as the British Prime Minister, Gillian Anderson won rave reviews, with Lovin.ie’s very own Rory Cashin stating that the one-time X-Files star ‘stole the show’ in his review of The Crown series four.

A new addition to the cast, Anderson joined the likes of Olivia Colman (Queen Elizabeth), Tobias Menzies (Prince Philip), Marion Bailey (The Queen Mother), Helena Bonham Carter (Princess Margaret) on the series and judging by her social media, the gang had the absolute craic while filming,

Anderson has been sharing photos of the cast enjoying some downtime, like these ones which were taken during the filming of the Balmoral scenes…
