It was a joyous day for Michael O’Leary yesterday as, for the second year in a row, he watched his horse Tiger Roll winning the English Grand National.
Jockey Davy Russell clinched victory, making Tiger the first horse since Red Rum in 1974 to retain the Grand National title. Celebrations must have gone on long into the evening because a video that has emerged shows O’Leary apologising for delaying Ryanair passengers on the flight from Liverpool to Dublin last night.
However, the airline boss more than made up for it by announcing that there would be a free bar for all on the short journey home. God bless anyone who thought about ordering a panini.
Check out the video, by Adam Connon, below.
