WATCH: Virgin Media reporter swerves camera as he’s caught rapid doing the Penneys shop

After a long wait, people flocked to Penneys this morning as non-essential retail opened up for the first time in 2021.

Paul Quinn of Virgin Media News was no different but while most of us don’t need to worry about our colleagues turning up on a job, that risk is always there for a TV reporter on such a momentous day.

Unsurprisingly, the Ireland AM cameras were camped up at Penneys this morning to capture the atmosphere on the big day but they got more than they bargained for when a familiar face appeared in the back of the shot.

Not ones to let it lie, the social team then shared the clip on Twitter and it’s fair to say it’s gone down well. Have a look for yourself below…

You have to admire that swerve and the Curb Your Enthusiasm music just tops it all off. Let’s hope Paul can shop in peace the next time he hits up Penneys.
