Spread the word!

We love this initiative. Earlier in the week Sitar Indian restaurant in Dundalk announced they would be doing free meals on Christmas Day for those in need and now Casey’s bar and restaurant are said to be doing something similar.

The Cork bar took to Instagram to share the news with their followers, hoping to spread the message further of their free Christmas dinners in order to help as many people as possible. Unlike Sitar, they will be serving their dinners on Christmas Eve as opposed to Christmas Day.

Those living alone or in need can get a Christmas dinner from Casey’s on Christmas Eve.

“Are you living alone, know anyone living alone or in need this Christmas? Then Casey’s are here to help!
We are giving away free Christmas dinners on Christmas Eve with all the trimmings plus dessert!
This is our way of giving back to the community especially after the year we all had. We appreciate if ye could share it so we can help as many people as we can.”

Make sure you spread the word far and wide; this could be something that truly makes someone’s Christmas if they’re struggling. Anyone in need or living alone this Christmas can avail of the dinners at Casey’s, based on Pearse Street in Clonakilty.

It’s this kind of thing that restores our faith in humanity.
