Michelin star restaurant Aniar set to relaunch in early 2024

“Watch this space.”

JP McMahon, chef and restauranteur, took to Twitter to announce the news about the future of Aniar.

The Galway based restaurant has had a Michelin star since 2012, praised for its “back-to-nature” ethos, championing of ingredients from Ireland’s Atlantic Coast, clever cooking which blends traditional and modern techniques, and delicate, well-balanced dishes.

McMahon revealed that Aniar 2.0 is officially on the way, and that the restaurant is set to get a whole new look.

In January, Aniar will close for a month of renovations, and when they reopen they will have an entirely new restaurant space, designed by Marmar Architects, and a new kitchen designed by Catering Innovation Agency.

Keep an eye on their socials for updates on the relaunch of Aniar – if their current space is anything to go off, we’re sure it will be nothing short of impressive.
