Free dinner on Christmas Day

In a heartwarming gesture, a popular Indian restaurant in Louth is offering free dinner to anybody who needs it on Christmas Day.

Sitar Indian Restaurant in Carlingford, Louth has kindly offered to provide anybody who walks through their doors on December 25 with a warm and friendly meal, free of charge.

The restaurant will open from 1pm to 4pm on Christmas Day and will not ask any questions to customers who want to avail of a free Christmas meal.

Whether financial issues mean that you cannot afford a meal on Christmas Day or you simply have nobody to spend the day with, Sitar Indian Restaurant in Carlingford wants to help.

A message from Ricky from Sitar Indian Restaurant on Facebook reads: “If you are struggling financially to put a dinner on the table on Christmas Day or if you live alone and don’t have someone to spend the day with, Sitar Indian Restaurant Carlingford will be serving free dinner to anyone who walks through our doors from 1 – 4pm.

“We need your support in this matter, spread the word so we make sure no one misses out on this. If we can make Christmas just a little bit better for even one person by opening our doors and providing warm and friendly meal well that’s enough for us.

“You can eat in the restaurant or take away. You can have a lunch with us or simply take food home. No questions will be asked!”
