With exactly the type of swoon-worthy branding we’ve come to expect from the Wicklow cafe.

The Fat Fox have had a great few years. Since the launch of their minty green Delgany drive-thru in 2019, they’ve opened a brick-and-mortar location in the Malibu of Ireland (Greystones) as well as a taco truck with a vibey outdoor dining area.

But they’re not stopping there. God no.

Over the weekend, the Fat Fox team unveiled their latest venture – The Fox and the Flour, a bakery serving up show-stopping cakes for the special moments in your life.

The Fox and the Flour is the brainchild of Claire, who’s one half of the well-known Fat Fox duo and Julie, a baker specialising in rustic wedding and celebration cakes who’s been working in The Fat Fox kitchen for the past few years.

The goal of The Fox and the Flour is to create “unique and natural cakes” with a rustic feel and a healthy serving of buttercream icing, adorned with fresh flowers, macaroons, gold leaf and fresh seasonal fruits.

And of course, the cake delivery vehicle is a pastel peach 4×4 that wouldn’t look out of place in an Olivia Rodrigo video. Obviously.
