Free food holds a special place in our hearts.
We’ve been harping on about Pancake Tuesday for days now, which should tell you just how excited we are for it to finally arrive.
I think every day of the week should have a food assigned to it – Bagel Monday, Pancake Tuesday, Wings Wednesday, Spice Bag Thursday etc. etc.
Sounds good, doesn’t it? I know we’re free to eat what we want when we want but the added bonus of joining friends worldwide in doing so is something special.
But anyway, I digress… back to the free food.
Celebrating Pancake Tuesday the best way they know how, Gino’s Gelato will be giving away free crepes – something they do every Shrove Tuesday.
Now I know what you’re thinking… too good to be true, right? Wrong.

Simply call into one of the Gino’s branches around the country between 9am and 12pm and you’ll get yourself a good old fashioned sugar and lemon crepe for your troubles.
With 17 locations across Ireland (soon to be 19), there will be happy heads and well-fed bellies in practically every county.
Once you’re there you’ll probably be tempted by some of their other offerings which range from the classic to the more decadent. Think chocolate, strawberry, banana, kinder bueno, oreo, cream – the list goes on.
And as for the crepes v pancakes debate; it may be called ‘Pancake Tuesday’ but that won’t stop us from eating crepes. Who are we to discriminate? Free food is free food after all.
