Big Mac sauce

Big news of a Wednesday morning, I think you’ll agree.

McDonald’s has revealed that their famous Big Mac sauce is coming to Irish shores.

Bringing the fan favourite to Ireland, McDonald’s customers will be able to buy Big Mac Special Sauce dipping pots for the first time EVER. What a time to be a burger fan, eh?

When can you get your mitts on the sauce?

Selling the sauce for a limited time only, it will be available to purchase on February 12th., 2020.

How much will the sauce cost?

Retailing for 50c per pot, each one is 50ml and will be available to buy 24 hours a day. Important to note that only a small number of pots will go on sale though, and they’re expected to sell out very quickly.

Already prepped for bulk orders and mile-long queues, the restaurant chain has warned customers that when supplies are gone, that’s it.

There’s something about Big Macs that are extremely moreish, and I have a sneaky suspicion that it’s down to their famous secret sauce.

So popular is their Big Mac sauce, that a bottle of the stuff was auctioned off for over £65,000 back in 2016. Teaming up with Ronald McDonald House Charities, McDonald’s sold the bottle online to celebrate the launch of The Bacon Clubhouse.

And if that’s not an indication of the frenzy that is about to ensue, I don’t know what is. Prepare yourselves.
