A bear hug cookie and a cuppa… sure where could ya go wrong?
Today is International Coffee Day in case you didn’t know. Only one of the best days of the year – up there with Chrimbo, Pancake Tuesday and my dog’s birthday – it’s a day where drinking multiple cups of the God’s brew is not only celebrated… it’s encouraged. My kinda day, in other words.
Honouring the occasion the best way they know how, Sligo café Shell’s is giving customers free cookies with every coffee purchase. A Thursday treat for a very special day.

Now, are they not just the cutest cookies you ever did see? Their coffee is just as good too… having paid a visit to Shell’s while in Yeats County over the summer, I can attest to the fact that theirs is some of the best out west.
