This Galway Gin Bar Is Launching a FAB G&T Cruise For Just €30 a Pop

Galway is soon to be home to the West of Ireland’s very first gin cruise, due to set sail next week.

Gin festivals are popping up all over the country as the nation’s thirst for the spirit of the moment shows no sign of being quenched anytime soon.

Now, the folks at one of Galway’s most popular gin bars, Tigh Nora, have teamed up with Fever Tree gin to launch a G&T cruise as part of the Latin Quarter Gin Fest, and consider us quite literally on board.

The Gin Fest is a four-day celebration of all things gin kicking off on Thursday June 7 and running until Sunday June 11, with the Tigh Nora cruise setting off on Friday 8.

Event details

‘All passengers will meet for a nautical themed G&T reception in Tigh Nora, before embarking on a special Corrib Princess boat trip.

‘On board, you’ll take part in the Fever-Tree Gin School – an immersive tasting, crafting and blending experience unlike any other.

‘The focus of the class is less on taking notes and more about tasting notes, as guests channel their inner gin distiller to create a drink that is totally unique to their flavour preferences.

‘Food and drinks will be served on board. You’ll also receive a gin & tonic swag bag as a keepsake from the cruise! Two sailing will take place, meeting in Tigh Nora at 5.15pm or 7.15pm on Friday 8th June.’

For just €30, this is cracking value and we reckon it will fill up fast.
