Limerick has welcomed a hugely popular new café

Katy Thornton

Big news for Limerick coffee lovers.

Frequenters of the Marina Market in Cork will be well acquainted with Guji, the speciality coffee container with a colourful exterior and seriously Instagrammable hot chocolates. Last summer, they announced their €2 million investment over the next five years that would create over 20 jobs and countless business opportunities, starting off in Limerick.

Last week, Guji’s newest coffee spot launched on O’Connell Street in Limerick City; plans for this new location have been in the works since May 2022, so naturally people were stoked to finally see them open.

We can expect Old Barracks Coffee to be served at their new Limerick café, as well as their other delicious treats (which better include their famous hot chocolate that comes with the massive toasted marshmallow on a stick).

And fingers crossed they open a Dublin branch in the not too distant future.
