Bad news for your da as he can no longer make ‘sundae/Sunday’ jokes on visits to McDonalds.
The fast food company has announced that it is discontinuing the much-loved ice-cream from its menu. The iconic dessert has long been a favourite of those looking to wash down a Big Mac meal with an ice-cold treat but it’s not all bad news for your auld lad.
He can still make the classic ‘we all scream for ice-cream’ gag as McDonalds have announced the introduction of the new ‘Mini McFlurry’. From tomorrow (Wednesday June 27) the treat, which will come in an adorable 75g pot, will be available at Irish branches.
Customers will be able to choose between the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk, Oreo or Cadbury Crunchie…
While a limited edition Flake version will also be available…
And if you’re feeling really adventurous you can also sample a Flake Raspberry version…
It’s sad to see the sundaes go but with this new dessert menu it probably won’t take too long to get over it.
