Friday night. Cocktails. The Front Door. Galway. Be there or be very disappointed.
Not usually how the saying goes, but most definitely how you’ll feel if you miss out on the Front Door Pub launching their new cocktail menu this weekend.
Galway’s favourite late-night venue, almost a home of worship for some, is bringing out a brand-new drinks menu called ‘The Look Book’. Very good news for the cocktail lovers amongst us.
Packed with 20 original creations, we won’t rest till we’ve tried them all…maybe not in one night though. The Mezcal Margarita is amongst the new concoctions and is a combination of Mezcal Tequila, Agavero Tequila Liqueur, agave syrup, lime juice, and salt. Sounds pretty good to me.
The current drinks menu includes favourites such as the Wild Atlantic Way Cocktail, made from Nora’s Irish Gin, along with the Race Week drink of choice Ketel One Peach and Orange Blossom Vodka. Fingers crossed both will remain on the new menu.
Festivities get underway from 8.30p.m. and there will be complimentary cocktails and tasters as well as light bites and sweet treats. Drinks and nibbles? Unreal.
As everyone knows, The Front Door is best loved for its banging playlist but fear not as there will be a DJ onsite to provide the tunes and make sure the dance floor is always full. Ditch the usual ‘jeans and a nice top’ combo and put your glad rags on as there’s also €500 worth of prizes for the best dressed on the night.
Organisers say all are welcome, but places are limited so recommend arriving early.
