When you think of winter, what comes to mind? Christmas, obviously. Hot chocolate in front of the fire. The cosiest socks you can find. And, of course, lights. All of the lights.
If you’re constantly expressing your anticipation for some illumination then this is the winter experience for you. Wonderlights is a new exhibit coming this October which will see the Kildare countryside lit up as a magnificent, multi-sensory experience using thousands of lights, state of the art technologies and stunning visuals.
Visitors will be able to view the display over a 2km walk at Palmerstown House Estate, just a 15-minute drive from Dublin. The woodland will be transformed into a mix of lights and colour with plenty of opportunity for some winter tales and stories about the local area along the way.
It looks like a must-visit for people of all ages over the winter season and you can sign up for priority booking via this link. Tickets will cost €18 for Adults, €16 for students/OAPs and €15 per child, with infants under two getting in for free.
