That's according to renowned publication Big 7 Travel who have ranked the Limerick hotel at number one in their list of The 50 Most Romantic Hotels In The World.
Adare finished ahead of the stunning private island of Como Cocoa in The Maldives and the Limerick spot is described as 'a five-star hotel set on an 840-acre estate that brings gourmet food, warm hospitality and grandeur to a new height.'

Not a bad spot to wake up to next to your significant other and no doubt Big 7's 360k + Twitter followers will think the same. Adare Manor wasn't the only Irish inclusion in the list, with Ballymaloe House in East Cork coming in at number 48 in the list.
