Tickets for Electric Picnic 2024 have sold out

Fiona Frawley

Without so much as a sniff of a lineup.

As usual, Electric Picnic organisers put the Early Bird tickets for next year’s festival on sale just a few days ahead of this one – perfectly timed so that any fomo-ridden souls who missed out on this year would snap them up with vigour.

The rest of the tickets went on sale today, one week after EP’s 2023 offering – so that everyone who had the time of their lives, conveniently forgetting that it ever rains at an Irish festival would inevitably be rushing to purchase too.

Maybe it’s the date move to two weeks earlier in the summer, maybe it’s the viral videos from this year’s packed out Wolfe Tones set, maybe it’s Maybelline, but tickets for Electric Picnic 2024 have completely sold out, one hour after being released.

Announcing the news on social media, festival organisers wrote:

“WOW! Just like that, Electric Picnic 2024 is COMPLETELY sold out!

If you managed to secure a golden ticket, we’ll see you in Stradbally next year! We can hardly wait!”

The announcement has been met with mixed reactions – some enthusiasts relieved to have secured the goods, others sceptical at the lack of a lineup and the fact that the tickets weren’t released in waves, providing more people with a chance to obtain them.

Did you grab tickets during today’s rush? Did you have no idea they were even on sale? Let us know.
