Lidl Is Selling A Knock-Off Chanel Raincoat That’s €1,000 Cheaper

In what’s gotta be the biggest fashion win of 2018 so far, Lidl is selling a trendy plastic mac rain jacket that’s the absolute splits of the transparent macs seen on the catwalks of Chanel for the designer brand’s Spring Summer ’18 collection.

It might not fool Anna Wintour but still, you’d be saving yourself well over a grand and it looks ah-mazing.

While the Chanel jacket will set you back about €1,200 (PVC rain jackets were also seen at Christopher Kane and Marc Jacobs), the one on sale in Lidl costs just €19.99

Part of the esmara by Heidi Klum collection, the mac comes in two designs: the translucent and silver trimmed plastic mac creates the perfect sparkly look to spruce up the duller rainy days or for those looking for a pop of colour, the darker translucent mac with the contrasting hot pink trim will add just the right about of colour to any outfit. 

The mac might be back, but customers will need to be quick to get these in their trolleys, as they ll be sure to fly off the shelves…
