Sounds better than some rented accommodations.
There’s a new property on the market and it is none other than the former Bunbeg Garda station in West Donegal. Going for sale via public auction, the advised minimum value of the station sits at €30k, with open viewings taking place on various dates between now and October 28th; it will officially go to auction on November 3rd.
The former Garda Station is within walking distance of Bunbeg, in the heart of the Donegal Gaeltacht. It’s close to the local beaches and just a 20 minute drive to Donegal Airport – anyone for commuting?
According to the Daft advertisement, the station was built in the early 1970s, complete with double glazed PVC windows, concrete floors, internal plastered walls and ceiling, and electric storage heating.
The station’s layout has an entrance area which leads into the former public office. Behind the entrance you’ll find the former sergeant’s office, which is fitted with a sink. To the rear of the property there is a cell, a toilet/shower, as well as a kitchen area, which is adjacent to the back door.
The Gross Internal Area of the property is just under 69m².
So, we’ve thoroughly whet your appetite have we? You can read all the rules around the pre-registering for the auction here.
