Airbnb has unveiled a list of the top 10 most popular staycation destinations for Irish people.
In a statement released on Wednesday (3 May) ahead of what should be a busy summer for the vacation rental company, Airbnb stated that Letterkenny in Donegal was the top trending domestic destination for those in Ireland looking for a holiday closer to home.
Ranking in second and third place then was Inishmore in Galway and Rosslare in Wexford respectively, while Dingle in Kerry and Schull in Cork rounded out the top five.
Donegal and Kerry were the counties in Ireland with the most destinations in the top 10, with two a piece. Tralee in Kerry placed eighth, while Bundoran in Donegal (pictured) came 10th.
Also on the list was Enniscrone in Sligo, Kilkee in Clare and Tramore in Waterford.
