One Type Of Shop Keeps Selling €1,000 ‘White Creme Eggs’

Darragh Berry

On Friday, we brought you the news that one of Ireland’s first white Creme Eggs, worth the big €1k, had been found in a Spar shop in Wexford.

Well, Sunday morning sees another Grand winning egg hunter who also bought their egg in a Spar shop.

According to The Irish Sun, the seven-year-old’s mother – living in Waterford – bought a creme egg for him when he was off sick from school with the tummy bug and now he’s €1,000 richer.

The lucky boy.

That’s two out of two now for Spar shops.

So while we’re not saying that each and every one of them are in some Spar shops, across the country, it’s probably no harm to head down to your local Spar and buy one, if you believe in coincidence.

There are 78 eggs hidden in shops around the country by Cadbury’s and people are going crazy trying to find them as they can win cash prizes of up to €1,000.

Only 13 of the white eggs are worth €1000 each and the remaining 65 are worth €100.

A spokesperson for Cadbury’s Ireland told the publication that there have been a small number of winners in Ireland so far.

The closing date for people to claim their prizes from the white eggs is April 1, 2018.

Happy searching, folks.
