Online tool tells you exactly how many times your name was chosen for new babies in 2020

The Central Statistics office has a great online tool that allows you toy see how many times your name was chosen for new babies in Ireland in 2020.

The CSO recently released its baby name data for 2020, with Jack being the most popular name for a boy and Grace for a girl. Other popular names were the likes of James, Noah, Fiadh, Emily and Sophie but when it comes to your name, how often was it chosen for new arrivals in 2020?

Well it’s easy to find out, thanks to this handy online tool on the CSO website. All you have to do is type in your name and the year and you’ll see how many times it was chosen. A graph will also appear telling you how your name has increased or decreased in popularity since 1964. Pretty nifty, right?

You can really wile away the time by seeing whose name is most popular out of your friends and family and you can have a go yourself via this link.
