Penneys launch Late Late Toy Show pyjamas collection

Penneys will donate €120,000 to support children's charities and causes around Ireland.  

The Late Late Toy Show 2023 is a mere seven weeks away, and if you're already gearing up for one of the most festive nights of the year, then you'll want to secure the perfect pyjamas for this cosy evening in front of the television. Luckily Penneys have teamed up with RTÉ to bring this pj collection to life for the ninth year in a row, with everything you'll need already available in-store nationwide.

The collection includes adult and kids pyjamas, slippers, baby sleepsuits, and, back this year by popular demand, the Late Late Toy Show snuddie for adults. This range also includes a throw, ideal for snuggling up on the sofa ahead of the show. 

Head of Penneys Ireland and Northern Ireland Fintan Costello said this of the partnership:

“The RTÉ Late Late Toy Show is a special night for families around Ireland and marks the beginning of the Christmas season. We’re delighted to launch this year’s range, including the much-loved pyjama sets, which for many are now part of the tradition of the night. This is the ninth year of our partnership with RTÉ and we’re proud to donate €120,000 to support Irish charities and causes this year, helping children and families nationwide.”

The partnership will see Penneys donate €100,000 to the RTÉ Toy Show Appeal, which is managed and distributed by Community Foundation Ireland with the aim of changing children’s lives for good. Penneys will donate a further €20,000 to the Children's Health Foundation, which helps sick children and their families in Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly. There will also be a special delivery of The Late Late Toy Show pyjamas for children spending the night of the Toy Show in Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres so they can join in on the festive fun.
