The Top 20 Most Punctual Airlines In The World Have Been Revealed

Last week, we told you about the world’s safest airlines and Aer Lingus was included in the category of top ten safest budget airlines.

Well, figures by OAG.com – who provide the world’s largest network of air travel data – have found that Aer Lingus also falls into the top ten list of the most punctual airlines in the world. 

The data is compiled using an airline schedules database and it found that Aer Lingus was also the third highest punctual airline in Europe. 

So here is a list of the top 20 most punctual airlines throughout the globe:

2. Hong Kong Airlines 88.83%
3. Hawaiian Airlines   87.24%
4. Copa Airlines 86.39%
5. Qantas Airways 86.18%
6. Japan Airlines 85.27%
7. Vueling Airlines 85.25%
8. Jetstar Asia 85.08%
9. Skymark Airlines 85.00%
10. Aer Lingus 84.46%
    
11. Transavia 84.25%
12. Azul 84.14%
13. Singapore Airlines 84.07%
14. All Nippon Airways 83.81%
15. Qatar Airways 82.95%
16. Delta Air Lines 82.76%

The great news for the Irish airline comes on the same day when it was announced that Dublin to London is one of the busiest air routes in the world.

Flying this busy route with Aer Lingus – according to the data – means that there’s a 84% chance that you will get there on time.
