Have you come across this amazing sauna in Meath?

Fiona Frawley

An outdoor summer has the potential to become a bit… outdoorsy.

Heavy on the hikes, cycles and walks with less of an emphasis on chilling. But it’s summer holidays, we’ve had a mare of a year and we need the chilling too! If you’re looking for a relaxed activity, the Hot Box Sauna located between Trim and Navan is the ideal spot to wind down and forget about your troubles.

Let me paint you a picture. A quick, cooling dip in the fresh waters of the River Boyne. You emerge. You’re frozen and you haven’t yet become part of the dry robe crew. No worries, take a seat in this custom built sauna with its gorge stove and amazing view. Warm up, relax, and enjoy the scenes of the beautiful Meath countryside. Sure where else would ya be going? They’ve even installed their own pontoon for jumping into the river and a cute pathway leading down to it. The whole thing is extremely instagrammable, and should be top of your list for this weekend!
