Revenue officers have seized contraband tobacco worth more than €1m. According to RTÉ, two tonnes of the illegal tobacco was found in a Polish-registered truck at Rosslare Port on Monday morning.
A man in his 40s was questioned and his truck was seized.
Officers detected the stash with the help of a dog called Alfie.
