Sunday is expected to be ‘a day for the beach’ according Alan O’Reilly of Carlow Weather.
Irish Twitter’s go-to weather expert has said that ‘Sunday could be a day for the beach’ with some ‘decent heat’. However, unsurprisingly given that we live in Ireland, Alan added that it’s a ‘little far out yet and we have seen how things can go downhill.’
Sunday could a day for the beach. Looks like some decent heat but little far out yet and we have seen how things can go downhill. The butchers might want to get the burgers planned though 😉 pic.twitter.com/Z1gNUVZyAh

Met Éireann seem to agree with Alan on the heat aspect though, stating that ‘early indications suggest Sunday will have dry and sunny spells in many areas with a few showers around during the day. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees.’
Before that, Friday and Saturday are expected to be decent too with highs of 18 on the former and 19 on the latter. Whatever happens, we’d all just love two or three days without any rain. That’s all we ask.
