Emergency services in Cork City were called to the scene of a fire this morning.
The fire broke out on MacCurtain Street around 9:30am, causing a bridal shop, Love Story, to be evacuated.
The blaze erupted on the ground floor of the premises, which has four or five floors, according to eveningechoe.ie.
Black smoke was reportedly seen “billowing” from the ground floor windows of the building.

Residents of the building were evacuated and no injuries have been reported.
The fire is being treated as accidental.

AA Roadwatch have reported that emergency services have since dealt with the fire and traffic can now pass through the area.
