Fans of the neon orange energy drink that is Lucozade have been pretty disappointed with changes made to the soft drink in the last year.
Lucozade maker’s took the decision to reduce the drink’s sugar content, in an attempt to avoid the UK government’s new sugar taxes.
The new recipe was hailed by Lucozade as “game-changing”, however sales have dropped by 8.4% and the company has reportedly lost more than £25million.
Trade magazine The Grocer reported the news, also pointing out that people on social media are deeply criticising the new recipe.
