A man was killed last night after a landslide on the Roscommon-Sligo border.
The 37-year-old was working on a wind farm when the accident occurred around 6.30pm yesterday. The Examiner reports that the man fell into an embankment.
A search and rescue operation was launched, but was hindered by poor weather and the difficult terrain.
The body was found this morning and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority are currently investigating the incident.
