Aldi’s Famous Skincare Dupe Is Back In Stores Just In Time For Christmas

Sarah

If you’ve ever taken any sort of interest in a skincare routine, then you’ll probs be aware of the magical product that is Liz Earle’s Hot Cloth Cleanser.

I’ve been using that bad boy for years at this stage, and it’s the only thing I’d take my make-up off with, but it’s not the cheapest. At about €35 for 200ml, I’d give my left pinky for a slightly less expensive cleanser.

Here’s where Aldi comes in…

After flying off the shelves earlier this year, Aldi’s much-adored Lacura Hot Cloth Cleanser is back in time for Christmas and it’s a bargain €4.99 for 200ml.

It’s been called an exact dupe for the Liz Earle product by a heap of bloggers and skincare experts, so I for one will be legging it into stores to stock up.

The product is an innovative 2-step cleansing system with a creamy cleanser to remove all traces of make-up. Contains cocoa butter, eucalyptus oil and extracts of chamomile, rosemary and white tea, and it even includes a Muslin Cloth which is key to getting the exfoliation in.

“Beauty buffs be aware – Lacura’s Hot Cloth Cleanser is back instore!” said Ruth Griffin, Aldi’s Beauty Expert.

“The hot cloth cleansing technique has been used for decades in luxury spas, so to nail it yourself at home for under a fiver, just apply the Hot Cloth Cleanser on a dry face, massage into face and neck, and then rinse the muslin cloth in hot water. I’m bulk buying this goodie for little stocking filler gift this Christmas!”

The nifty little thing will be in stores nationwide from Thursday the 30th November.
