The UFC has confirmed that Conor McGregor will fight Khabib Nurmagomedov in Las Vegas on October 6.
The fight has been rumoured for some time and it will be the first time McGregor has fought in the UFC since defeating Eddie Alvarez in November 2016.

Last August, McGregor was defeated by Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match which gained worldwide publicity and was watched by an estimated 50 million people around the globe.
