How does two years in Dubai sound?
An award-winning bar based in Dubai is after Irish people for an “all expenses paid” job opportunity ahead of its forthcoming season.
The Irish Village bar and restaurant is seeking 10 to 15 new members of staff to work in waitering and bartending roles. The positions available are full-time roles attached to a two-year contract.
Successful candidates will be flown to Dubai free of charge. Upon completion of the first 12 months of the contract, they will receive an annual flight ticket allowing them to fly home once a year.
Applicants must be aged 21 years of age and above and have at least one year of experience in the field of hospitality. They must also be able to begin work by September of 2022.
As for the all-important benefits? If hired, employees will receive accommodation with gym and pool access, utility bills paid for, medical insurance, duty meals, cash/credit card tips, staff uniform and uniform laundry. The company will also absorb the cost of a pre-employment medical test.
The salary, meanwhile, is billed as “competitive”.
Open interviews will take place in Dublin’s Westbury Hotel on Friday, 15 July at 3pm and at the Clayton Hotel in Cork on Sunday, 17 July at 3pm.

“The primary focus of the role is to provide guests with friendly, courteous and attentive food and beverage service,” says an Irish Village spokesperson.
Located near Dubai International Airport and operating since 1996, the bar describes itself as a “traditional wooden pub steeped in its own character” with “its own story to tell”.
Over the years, live acts including Paolo Nutini, Bob Geldof, The Human League and The Pretenders have performed at the venue.
