The final which takes place in Croke Park on Sunday, 24th July will see Kerry and Galway going head to head in the hopes of lifting the Sam Maguire Cup.
And with hotel prices in Dublin continuing to rise, many fans may be facing a round trip to their home counties after the whistle blows.
In recent months, hotel prices in the capital have meant that many senior inter-county teams themselves have been unable to secure hotel rooms ahead of match days.
For supporters, the situation isn’t much better. For a family of four, a night in a 4* hotel after the match could cost anywhere from €440 to €800, with some 5* rooms coming in at over €1,000. For two people, 4* prices are, on average, about €300, with one 4* hotel in the city centre quoting an alarming €499 for two people on All-Ireland final night, according to Booking.com
If you want to spend Sunday night in Coppers and don’t care how you get there, one bunk in a 12 bed mixed room ensuite hostel will set you back about €50.
Then there’s just the small matter of securing your ticket and as always, the game is likely to be a sellout.
A 3.30pm throw-in is scheduled for the day, with coverage of the match to be shown on both RTE 1 and Sky Sports Arena. This year also marks the earliest in the year an All-Ireland Football final has ever taken place.
