Graham Norton celebrates nuptials in West Cork over the weekend

Katy Thornton

Huge congratulations to one of Ireland’s national treasures.

It was big weekend for Graham Norton. As one of Ireland’s most treasured icons, I think it’s safe to say how excited we all were to hear the news that he had gotten hitched over the weekend. Graham Norton celebrated his nuptials to his long term partner in West Cork, with approximately 120 guests present.

According to The Independent, the pair were married at Bantry House, which was closed to the public in order to provide a private setting for the day.

Entertainment was provided by Scottish singer Lulu and Irish performer Panti Bliss, as well as a Riverdance troupe. Celebrations continued the day after at Norton’s holiday home in Ahakista, where, according to The Independent, “large marquees were erected on the grounds.”

With the fantastic weekend weather, we’re sure it was a wonderful time for Graham Norton and all involved in the nuptials.

While we’re sure he needs no introduction, Graham Norton is a television presenter and author. His fourth novel Forever Home is due to come out in September 2022. His first novel Holding aired as a television series this year, starring a host of familiar faces including Siobhan McSweeney (Derry Girls), Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones), and Pauline McLynn (Father Ted).
