7 Reasons Why You Need To Visit Monart Immediately

katedemolder

In recent years the name Monart has become an Irish household name associated with luxury, indulgence and perfection.

And jaysus, we haven’t had more of an urge to hit up The Land of Strawberries since our cousins’ camper van at Curracloe Beach was free for the August Bank Holiday in 2005.  The sunny south east strikes again, but this time – it’s decadent.

So, anyway, here’s the scoop on the swankiest hotel and spa in town…

1. Because it’s heavenly

Let’s get the obvious out of the way, shall we.

Monart is beautiful beyond belief. The main building is grand and luxurious – made up of incredible decor, big beautiful windows and the most heavenly artwork. A feast for the senses, this place is fit for royalty – and during your stay, that royalty is you.

2. Because it’s worth the money

Monart isn’t cheap, but it’s actually worth it. Upon asking people who’ve been there, you’ll hear stellar reports of how chilled, relaxed and fantastic they all felt during and after their stay.

The ability to completely switch off is worth its weight in gold these days, and the crew at Monart totally have the ability to do just that.

It really is true – you get what you pay for.

3. Because the staff are top-notch, without being pompous

Usually, from such a formidable establishment, you’d presume that the worker bees would come off more snooty than helpful – but that’s not the case at Monart.

The staff take your car keys from you on arrival, cater to your every whim, and urge you to potter about the place in your bathrobe for the duration of your visit. You’re free to treat the place as your own, and stroll around as you please.

4. It’s heavily locally influenced

Everything from the building to the interior decor to the carpentry to the food has been lovingly created by local talent. Even the Celtic Gardens and adjoining woodlands are designed by the first Irish Chelsea Flower Show winner, Mary Reynolds.

Most of the staff are locals too, meaning they can advise and suggest local hotspots – should you not want to dine in the incredible surroundings of The Garden Lounge or the Monart restaurant.

5. The food is everything

Monart cafes and restaurants offer everything and anything you could possibly ask for. Their menus cater to every type of diner – be they vegetarian, carnivorous, vegan, or have some sort of intolerance.

They boast both decadent menus and detox options, as well as service staff who make you feel endlessly glam.

6. Because the thermal suite is life-changing

One of just a few in the world, Monart’s Thermal Suite will leave you feeling restored and fulfilled. The Infrared-Pro cabin is available for Monart guests to use freely as part of the Thermal experience, and it offers a plethora of health benefits to its users.

The proven benefits from infrared heat includes the removing of toxins stored in the body, improving flexibility and joint mobility, promoting healing, reducing muscle stiffness, soothing pain (arthritic or otherwise), decreasing soreness and inflammation, increasing circulation, promoting weight loss, lowering blood pressure and finally, reducing stress.
