Hold Everything, We’ve Potentially Found The Nicest House In Ireland

katedemolder

If there was ever a time to do the Euromillions, it’s right now.

This incredibly beautiful estate, named Westport Demesne, has just come on market – and we’re incredibly excited.

The 18th century mansion contains a magnificent Front Hall which features the only surviving Richard Cassels designed interior of a Doric Frieze, and coffered barrel vaulted ceiling.

It hosts an imperial staircase made of Sicilian marble, the nicest library you’ve ever seen, TEN bedrooms, three dressing rooms, eight bathrooms, incredibly high ceilings and was once an open courtyard.

The house, which is open to the public, contains many wonderful exhibitions including the waxwork exhibition, the Howe Peter champion of the slaves exhibition, the exhibition of Lady Sligo letters, the Grace O’Malley exhibition, The last 50 years’
exhibition and The Article Room to name just a few.

The main house was re-roofed four years ago when it was opened to the public for the first time in 1960, and since then has welcomed over four million visitors.

And now, it could be yours – for the low, low price of €10 million big ones.

Time to start counting those pennies…
