A certain chocolate bar has been taken off the shelves due to presence of peanut being found in its product, without having listed so.

Small pieces of peanut have been detected in a batch of Plamil Expressions No Added Sugar Chocolate with Sweetener Xylitol (pictured below).

Peanut is not listed as an ingredient in the bar. The label contains the statements ‘no nuts used here’ and ‘made to the highest: vegan and no nut standards’.

This may make the above batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanuts or its constituents.

The batch number is 09:25I.D. 1656 T2, the date number is 22/9/18 and the pack size is 100g.

Those who’ve bought the bar with allergies to peanuts are warned to throw it away, but those of you who’ve bought the aforementioned batch but don’t have an allergy needn’t worry.
