katedemolder

Tonight on TV3 sees the first of a two-part series based on the election of Donald Trump as the 45th President of The United States, and the implications that it has on the people and country of Ireland.

The special, which is split into two parts, is presented by Matt Cooper and will look at what Trump’s presidency will mean for Ireland and Irish citizens in The US. Legally, or otherwise.

According to TV3, the first showing will go into great detail on the huge influence of Irish Americans within Trump’s administration team, such as Vice President Mike Pence, Steve Bannon, Sean Spicer and Kellyanne Conway.

The second showing will look at the Trump regime and what it means for Ireland. This goes into some detail on the direct impact on our economy – particularly because of our great reliance on multi-national giants like Apple, Google, Facebook and Microsoft.

And yes, a trip to Doonbeg is also on the cards.

The documentary special, entitled ‘Trump V Ireland’ is set to air on TV3 at 10pm tonight, with the second part airing at 10pm tomorrow night.
